Self-published under his artist name, Jay V., #JayVatanakuljaras’s Homeland is a deeply personal work inspired by his grandmother and the stories within their family home. Built from synth demos he created in a single day on the KORG Minilogue XD, Homeland blends folk influences from East and South Asia, evoking the worship music of Chinese ancestral rites that Jay V. grew up with.
