Manual of Play

An evening session inspired by the gathering hall of multi-adventurers (commonly referred to as multi-players). Designed as a temporary space for exploration and informal pedagogy, this event will be delves into play, rehearsal and also artistic practice through line-drawing, writing, and reflective dialogue. Participants are invited to collaboratively construct an imaginative realm where play serves as a powerful tool in the learning process.
About guest speaker
May Adadol Ingawanij is a writer, curator, professor of Cinematic Arts, and co-director of the Centre for Research and Education in Arts and Media (CREAM), University of Westminster. She works on Southeast Asian contemporary art; artists moving image; de-westernised and decentred histories and genealogies of cinematic arts; avant-garde legacies in Southeast Asia; forms of future-making in contemporary global majority artistic and curatorial practices.
