TEN MAI TEN
23–29 November 2026
Ten Mai Ten, a Bangkok Platform for Expanded Choreography and Dance Inquiry
Initiated by Thanapol Virulhakul, Paopoom Chiwarak, and Bangkok CityCity Gallery.
Inaugural edition co-curated by River Lin
Rather than asking what dance is today, Ten Mai Ten asks how choreography moves, stages, and locates our bodies—socially, politically, historically, and spatially.
Ten Mai Ten is a new Bangkok-based platform dedicated to expanding the possibilities of choreography and fostering critical inquiry into dance. It approaches choreography not only as a compositional tool for making performance, but as a way of constructing relations and shaping how bodies encounter one another across performance, visual art, sound, architecture, text, objects, and everyday embodied practices.
The platform brings together practitioners from different disciplines and contexts to test, discuss, and share choreographic methodologies and artistic processes through experimentation, research, and critical reflection.
