Working – Materials

Following her recent presentation at Ghost:2568, Orawan Arunrak invites you to ‘Working – Materials,’ an Open Studio in Bangkok before she returns to Berlin.

Prior to developing an oral storytelling component for ‘Nirat of Parallel Rails,’ Orawan has been building a growing body of visual research. Her engagement with everyday materials is not simply a matter of proximity or convenience, but a sustained experiment that tests how images, movement, and material qualities might be translated into lyrical structures. The works to be presented in this Open Studio will function both as preliminary research for Nirat of Parallel Rails and as part of an ongoing process toward the composition of new songs.
