BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY is pleased to announce MUSIC PROJECT, a new long-duration platform dedicated to listening, sound, and music as forms of cultural memory, public gathering, and interdisciplinary experimentation.

Opening to the public on 23 May 2026, MUSIC PROJECT marks a new direction in the gallery’s programming, transforming its exhibition architecture into a hybrid environment composed of a listening room, research library, and day-time club. Developed across three months of public activation, the project approaches music not merely as performance, but as a mode of thinking, remembering, circulating, and relating.

With a particular focus on experimental music, MUSIC PROJECT asks how sound travels across borders, scenes, technologies, and bodies, and how collective listening may function today as both archive and social encounter.
