The concept of paradise, an ideal world in Buddhist cosmology, has been devised as political doctrine in Thai society. Chulayarnnon reinterprets this dogmatic idea of a singular paradise, a singular virtue, and perhaps, recreates it into alternative forms or possibilities of a new paradise (?)

Marmosets

Marmosets is an alter ego of Kingkong, a live performer/DJ, focusing on the different scopes of House, Techno, Experimental Music and Sound Design, including live sets with modular and hardware synthesizers. Marmosets is the co-founder and music director of Tempobkk.com, a Bangkok website that focuses on nightlife, party, underground music and lifestyle, with the aim to broaden the local’s perspective on the underground lifestyle. He also initiated Tempology Festival, an annual festival connecting the Electronic Music scene in Thailand and other Asian countries. Together with Koichi Shimizu, he co-founded a label and collective called RAZE. RAZE focuses on Heavy Electronic Music: Noise, Industrial Techno, Experimental Music and Sound Design.

Chulayarnnon Siriphol

Chulayarnnon Siriphol is interested in exploring new possibilities in creating moving images. He is thus working between the role of a filmmaker and an artist, using video as a medium. His works range from short film, experimental film, documentary to video installation which are in–between personal memory and social memory, documentary and fiction, reality and supernatural.

Clouds – Virtual Club

Clouds creates a series of 360° virtual spaces to connect the underground music networks: from musicians, producers, DJs, and visual artists, to clubbers and music lovers. The virtual experience will take you on a journey of imaginative atmosphere and deep roots into electronic music. Clouds is creative directed by Marmosets. The visual is directed by KEEP_YOUR_EYES_ON and Site of Projects.

NUH PEACE

NUH PEACE is a multidisciplinary artist/ fashion designer based in Bangkok whose mediums combine fashion, performance, video, and party. Their set represents the soundscapes of contemporary neoliberal capitalism, from Deconstructed Club to Skoi Music. In 2018, NUH PEACE invented ‘Cyber Baptism’, a metaphorical space described as “an experimental post-apocalyptic church party” based on political unrest, queerness, and religion. The party aims to rebuild the human connection and has been separated into a series, with each party having its own story, name, venue, and theme.
